Upon completion of this program, participants will:

• Understand the traits of a healthy marriage, and the role of responsible parenthood and stewardship of the body
• Appreciate the role of marriage in the culture
• Know effects of contraception/artificial reproductive technologies on the individual/marriage/family/environment/culture
• Have introductory level understanding of modern NFP methods
• Contrast pornography with healthy sexuality
• Implement effective strategies for introducing NFP to the community served, including Spanish speaking communities
• Recognize signs of disease process on a chart and referral options
• Know resources and protocols for abortion reversal, loss, and grief
• Develop effective communication with varied personality types
• Understand more fully the unique roles and perspectives of male and female, individually, in relationship, and in society
