My question is in regards to the question asked before on Low Volume Red Tinged Ejaculate (2006)

I noticed my normal ejaculation go to red runny fluid over the last 4 years. During this time I had several PSA tests(all normal) and a prostrate biopsy (negative). The doctor even tested a sample for blood and that test came back negative too. Now after reading on the internet I am assuming my seminal fluid is causing this color. You said that nature can cure this condition in your other response but it doesn't seem to ever get better with me. I'm confused about why the sample tested negative for blood. Can you shed some more light on this condition? Thanks.

Dave asks why his ejaculate is consistently red and runny for a number of years. He states "the sample tested negative for blood."

If indeed the red seminal fluid is negative for blood I have no idea what is causing that color. It would be worth a visit to a local academic urologic center to check it out.

On the other hand I have at least two patients in my thirty plus years of experience who intermittently have blood in their ejaculate for reasons that are unclear to me. Each has had extensive radiologic evaluation, direct examination of the bladder (cystoscopy), and even prostate biopsy all of which was normal. No medication has cleared the problem forever.
