Question
Does frequent ejaculation decrease sperm count, making chances less for acheiving pregnancy?
Matt
Answer
The quality and quantity of sperm is ideal after one day of abstinence in a male with an infertility problem. The quality and quantity of sperm in a normal male is probably ideal after 7-10 days of abstinence. See the brief synopsis of the article Abstinence makes weak sperm grow stronger on the WebMD site, or review the original article in the June, 2007, issue of Fertility and Sterility.
