Question
I'm 16 and I have a girlfriend who I'm scared is pregnant. We had had sex about 10 minutes after I had ejaculated. I think I stopped less than a minute later. Also, I'm afraid of preejaculation. Today is June 1st, and her next period is expected June 3rd. She took a pregnancy test yesterday with her morning urine and it came back negative. I'm still scared especially since it doesn't work every time. I'm really not ready to be a parent.
I understand that I made a mistake. I know I'll be waiting til marriage now. Also, for some odd reason, I always feel so dirty when I do some sort of sexual activity, and I absolutely hate it. I don't even know why I did this in the first place.
If she is pregnant, I am definitely going to accept the responsibility of the child. There's no way I'd try to convince her to have an abortion. But, the problem is, I don't think I want to be with this girl for the rest of my life. I really care for her though. It's just, I still want to be a teen and date around and get to know other people.
Anyway, I've been as positive as I've been able to. I've been reassuring her the whole time that she's not pregnant, and she really believes that I'm not worried at all, and that's helped her a lot. But in reality, I'm scared to death. What do you think the chances are of her actually being pregnant?

There are too many variables in this situation to predict the chances of pregnancy. But further testing in the near future will answer the question most definitively…
