Question

Hey, I'm 13 and I'm worried. I had sex yesterday and a little bit of sperm came in contact with me. I'm worried that I might be pregant. What should I do? I know that I'm not ready for a child and don't want to be pregnant. Should I get an abortion??

Stacy

Answer

Dear Stacy,

Yes, you could be pregnant and no, you shouldn't get an abortion but you need to talk to your mother or someone else right away and tell them about your concerns and why you think you might be pregnant. This may be a difficult decision for you but it will affect the rest of your life. You need education and advice right now!

Check this website for the name of a doctor or a teacher of Natural Family Planning in your area as soon as possible.

Best wishes,
