Question

My last period began on 8/4/06. I usually have a 28 day cycle. I have not yet started. I have taken a test, it came back negative. Had sex on 8/11 and 8/12 what is going on with me???

Chrystal

Answer

Chrystal,

Cycle variation of up to two weeks is normal and can occur even in women who usually have very regular cycles. If your pregnancy test was accurate, this is probably what's going on; but if your period has not yet started, a retest would be in order.
